Burkina Faso is a landlocked country between Mali and Niger in western Africa. One of the world’s poorest countries, it is prone to drought and famine. The spirit world is also very dominant here. The country is said to be 50% Muslim, 20% Christian, and 100% animist (belief in spirits). There are many physical and spiritual needs of the people, and the few missionaries are stretched. Pray that the dark spiritual hold will be lifted in this country with the light that is Jesus Christ.
