Belize has the world’s second-largest coral barrier reef. It is on my list for diving and snorkeling destinations. Forty percent of the country is national parks and reserves. Formerly British Honduras, they received their independence in 1981.
Though they are largely professing Christians, syncretism is common, which is the combining of different opposing practices. There are many superstitions, underlying paganism and black magic. Pastors are thinly stretched and have great needs for training and expenses. Please pray for these pastors and the needs of the people.
