To the older man in the gym today.. (this does not apply to any of my FB friends!), your loud and incessant boasting about how much weight you used to lift is not an attractive feature for a fifty-something-and-above person.  Unless you are George Clooney (or the younger Bradley Cooper who gets a free pass for everything), the words “King of the gym” should never come out of your mouth at your age, in any context.  You made me leave my workout early.  Again, only George and Bradley can get away with such things.  The rest of us have to play by the rules.

Like this woman from Syria, other countries look to us as a Christian nation, either in hatred or […]
Human trafficking is real, and it is not just a third-world problem. Atlanta is a major hub.  TWENTY-ONE MILLION people a year are trafficked, mostly immigrants.  Below is an excerpt from a conversation with some of Atlanta’s leaders. There is something we can do.  Most of us don’t like to stand in line at airport security. But the next time you’re there, you can do something that might save a life.  Look around. Do you notice anything unusual about the other passengers – a woman who doesn’t speak or make eye contact with anyone, not even the people she’s traveling […]
