We’ve become anti-everything. It’s the new solution. Have a problem?… all you need to do is be against something, and you’ll feel better. But just like the old saying goes, “fight bad with good”, we need to be FOR something. It’s the only way this life is going to work. Jesus said, “These people honor Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me. They worship Me in vain, teaching as doctrines the commands of men.” “You have revoked God’s word because of your tradition.” It’s easier to believe in the big miracles – the feeding of the 5000, walking on water. Most everyone has heard the story of Jesus feeding a crowd of 5,000 with five loaves and two fish. It’s a great story about God’s provision, compassion and miracles. I have not heard of anyone, scholar or skeptic, who can dispute this event actually happened, especially since it was recorded in history by Matthew soon after the event took place.
